"Liquidity just means how easy it is to buy or sell something quickly," Arjun explained.

"Imagine you have a big glass of water, and you need to pour it out. If the hole is big and lots of water comes out fast, that’s High Liquidity. If the hole is tiny, and the water slowly drips out, that’s Low Liquidity."

Sia thought about it. "So, in trading, High Liquidity means lots of people are trading a stock, so it's easy to sell it right away?"

"Yes! Now, listen close. The market is always thirsty," Arjun whispered playfully. "It always moves toward the places where the most buy and sell orders are piled up—we call these Liquidity Pools."

 

👀 Wait, Don't Chase

"The price you see moving? It’s just the market trying to reach these big pools of orders, like water always flows to the deepest spot," Arjun said, pointing at a line on her chart.

Sia finally understood the picture. "So the market is like a magnet for these big stacks of money?"

"Exactly! Don't run after the price. Be patient. Watch where the biggest pools of liquidity are, and see what happens when the price gets there. Good traders wait and watch; they don't rush."

Arjun winked. "Now, let's go get some snacks before it gets too dark."
